Civic groups, health care unions, and patient groups launched a "national-centered medical reform solidarity meeting" and called for dialogue between the government and the medical community.

The Citizens' Coalition for Economic Justice, the Korea Association of Patient Organizations, the National Health and Medical Industry Workers' Union, and the Korean Federation of Trade Unions pointed out that the discussion necessary for Korea's medical transformation is being buried amid the two-sided battle between the government and the medical association.

Therefore, it is said that the people and patient groups have become the subjects of the change of phase so that the government and medical groups can stop the extreme parliamentary confrontation and gather strength and wisdom while communicating.

To this end, the government and medical organizations will hold seven "Korea Medical Transformation Continuous Planning Debates" by January next year, appealing for the people, the government, and doctors to join forces to overcome the medical disruptions and shift to the medical reform phase.
