Pope's message 'Cross of the World Youth Congress' is coming to Korea.

Ahead of the 2027 World Youth Congress, WYD, the symbol of the competition, the Tree Cross and the Virgin Mary, will soon come to Korea.

The Korean Catholic Bishops' Conference and the "2027 Seoul WYD Regional Organizing Committee" dispatched young parishioners and religious representatives from all over the country to the "WYD Symbol Delivery Ceremony" to be held at St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican on the 24th.

Bishop Lee Yong-hoon, the chairman of the Korean Catholic Bishops' Association, explained that the delivery of symbols means a delivery of 'hope' beyond simply receiving a cross and a torch.

The 2027 Seoul World Youth Conference is considered the biggest festival for Catholic youth, which is expected to attract 1 million people not only from Korea but also from abroad.
