A ship fire in Goheung, Jeollanam-do...evacuation of the crew

At around 7:40 p.m. last evening (18th), a fire broke out in a 5-ton fish farm management ship working in the southwest sea of Jijukdo Island in Goheung-gun, Jeollanam-do.

Four foreign sailors were aboard the ship, and fortunately, they were evacuated on an auxiliary ship after reporting to the Coast Guard.

The Coast Guard, who were dispatched to the scene, worked with fishermen to extinguish the fire and put it out in about two hours.
