Singer Ailee and actor-turned-businessman Choi Si-hoon will marry on April 20 next year.
Ailee's agency, A2Z Entertainment, released the wedding date today (19th), saying, "The two met through the introduction of an acquaintance and have been in a relationship for about a year until now, and promised to marry in May this year with affection and deep trust."
The activities will continue steadily. "Ailee plans to do her best to repay the fans' constant affection and support," the agency said, "and both she and her agency will concentrate on their activities as singers, such as performances, album preparation, and broadcasting, in the process of preparing for marriage."
On the same day, Ailee thanked her fans in a post on her fan cafe, saying, "I, who was bright and energetic that you raised with your heart, grew up to be who I am and decided to marry someone who can share all this love with."
He then said, "I met a grateful and reliable person who gave me a shoulder to be cared for and relied on by someone, and I wanted to be with him for the rest of my life in the future because of his understanding and consideration. "After a year of dating, we decided to hold a ceremony in April next year," he explained.
Ailee made her debut with the KBS drama Dream High 2 in 2012, and began her career as a singer in earnest by releasing a digital single "Heaven" in the same year. He released hit songs such as "I'll Show You," "Don't Touch Me," and "U&I" and was loved for his explosive singing skills.
