It was belatedly known that a senior superintendent of the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency sent text messages to a female police officer several times that made her feel sexual shame and received a waiting order.

According to the police yesterday (18th), a district commander in Busan reportedly sent text messages to a female police officer who had just moved in in August, saying, "I want to be your boyfriend if I am born again," and "I resemble my first love."

The policewoman, who continued to receive such messages, reported it because she felt sexual shame. Immediately after the National Police Agency's investigation into sexual misconduct began, the district chief was ordered on standby.

The National Police Agency will decide whether to take disciplinary action as soon as the inspection results are released.
