Group ILIT has confirmed its appearance in Japan's largest year-end song festival "The Red and White Song Competition" eight months after its debut.

Eilit attended the press conference for the '75th NHK Red and White Song Competition' held at the NHK Broadcasting Center in Tokyo, Japan, today (19th).

Members who were invited to the press conference as the first artist to appear in the "Red and White Singing Contest" said, "It is an honor to be able to stand on the big stage of the "Red and White Singing Contest" in the year I debuted as an artist," adding, "We will show you a great stage to deliver energy to you, so please look forward to it."

"The Red and White Singing Contest" is Japan's leading year-end special music program broadcast on NHK, Japan, on December 31 every year, featuring singers who have performed very well and gained popularity throughout the year. Eilit was invited to the program before her official Japanese debut, proving her popularity in the country.

Eilit has performed brilliantly in Japan this year. "Magnetic," the title song of the mini-first album "SUPER REAL ME," released in March, exceeded 100 million cumulative plays at the Japan Record Association and Oricon in the shortest period among single songs of all-time female groups, and was ranked fifth on the Japanese list on TikTok's "Songs of the Summer 2024."

Thanks to the song's popularity, it not only topped the "Tower Record Music Streaming Rankings in the First Half of 2024" but also swept various charts, recently topping the "Trend Grand Prize 2024" artist category announced by Shibuya 109 lab.
