Deputy Defense Minister Kim Sun-ho leaves for Laos tomorrow.Participation in ASEAN Expansion Defense Ministers' Meeting

The Ministry of National Defense said Vice Defense Minister Kim Sun-ho will leave tomorrow to attend the 11th ASEAN Extended Defense Ministers' Meeting (ADMM-Plus) to be held in Laos the day after tomorrow.

The Ministry of National Defense said the meeting, which will be held under the theme of "Together for Peace, Security, and Resilience," will discuss ways to cooperate for peace and stability in the region amid complex security threats.

At the meeting, Kim Sun-ho will condemn the North Korean military's dispatch to Russia and call for international solidarity to stop it.

The ASEAN Extended Defense Ministers' Meeting was established in 2010 as a defense conference involving defense ministers from 10 ASEAN member countries and eight major regional countries.
