Korean Teachers' Union "Promotion of Reservation Integration...The action plan must be completely withdrawn."

The Korean Teachers and Education Workers Union held a resolution meeting in front of the Ministry of Education and demanded the complete withdrawal of the reservation integration implementation plan.

It was argued that none of the objections from kindergarten teachers were reflected until the Ministry of Education announced the implementation plan in June after collecting opinions on the integration of reservations.

In addition, he pointed out that the "Pilot Project for Infants" and the "Special Training System," which eased the requirements for obtaining teacher qualifications, are likely to shake the nature of kindergartens and level early childhood education downward.

The KTU emphasized that the Ministry of Education should withdraw its push for the integration of reservations even now, and called for expanding national and public kindergartens to truly strengthen the publicity of early childhood education.
