It was written as a manual treatment room and a stem cell treatment room, but in reality, it is a room where cosmetic procedures and plastic surgery were carried out respectively.

It is a medical institution established by doctor A in Haeundae-gu, Busan in December 2020 and moved to Dongnae-gu in September last year.

During cosmetic procedures and plastic surgery that are not covered by loss insurance, medical records were manipulated with athlete's foot treatment and manual treatment to earn insurance money.

Police confirmed that more than 750 patients stole 6.4 billion won in insurance money with false medical records.

[Affected insurance company official: Since it is a false document written as if it had been done (medical) for an act that has not been done, the insurance company has no way of knowing whether the claim is false or true.]

Brokers collecting patients and damage assessors preparing for legal issues were present at the medical institution.

The police first applied the criminal organization charge, which had been applied to organized gangs, to medical institutions, believing that the purpose was insurance fraud from the beginning.

[Choi Hae-young / 1st team leader of Busan Metropolitan Police Agency: The doctor, who is the head of the hospital, was in charge of recruiting hospital staff as members and continuing to commit insurance fraud..]

The police arrested three doctors and brokers and handed over the rest of the group, patients, and pharmacists who paid health insurance premiums for false prescriptions to the prosecution without detention.
