Judge Lee Myung-sun of the Daegu District Court's Civil 17th Division ruled in favor of some of the plaintiffs, asking the corporation to pay 330 million won to former director Yoo in a lawsuit filed by former director Yoo against Korea Gas Corporation.
Judge Yoo ruled in favor of former coach Yoo, saying there was a lack of evidence to admit that the Yongsan High School cartel was formed in the club, and even if the cartel existed, there was no evidence to admit that the plaintiff was unfairly involved in the process.
Former coach Yoo, who took the helm of Electronic Land, the predecessor of Korea Gas Corporation, signed a managerial contract with the club until May, but was suddenly notified of his dismissal in June last year, one year before the contract was terminated.
The Korea Gas Corporation claimed that former director Yoo formed a "Yongsan High School Cartel" with former president Chae Hee-bong, general manager Shin Sun-woo, and general manager Lee Min-hyung, causing external criticism, but the court did not admit it.
