The nearly three-year-old investigation into former President Moon Jae In's son-in-law Seo's alleged preferential hiring of airlines has actually entered the end.

The Jeonju District Prosecutors' Office is reportedly discussing the schedule of the reference investigation with First Lady Kim Jung-sook.

The prosecution reportedly notified former President Moon's daughter Da-hye, a key reference, several times of face-to-face or wire investigation, but changed the subject of the investigation after receiving a reply that only a written investigation was possible.

Prosecutors suspect that former lawmaker Lee Sang-jik, the founder of Eastar Jet, actually gave Seo, who had no experience in the aviation industry, to pay and migration expenses to former President Moon.
