The court hearing the alleged false report of the so-called "President Yoon Suk Yeol defamation" pointed out again that no false facts were specified in the prosecution's indictment.

The Seoul Central District Court held a hearing today (19th) against Kim Man-bae, a major shareholder of Hwacheon Daeyu Co., and Shin Hak-rim, a former chairman of the media union, who were indicted on charges of defamation under the Information and Communication Network Act.

The prosecution presented related reports and transcripts in the document evidence investigation conducted at today's trial, claiming that Kim and others reported it even though they knew that President Yoon did not cover up the investigation of the Busan Savings Bank case in the past.

However, the court pointed out that it was a date to examine how the false information written in the indictment was expressed in the article, and that the prosecution seemed to focus on why it was false and that it was not specified whether it was false.

The court then added that it had removed 20 pages from the trial preparation date by asking them to remove unnecessary content from the indictment, but it had not taken a step forward from the initial review.
