Japan, which had an abnormal high temperature, suddenly experienced cold and heavy snow, turning into winter weather.

It is analyzed that it is due to the influence of cold air from the East Sea, and citizens are also quite embarrassed by the sudden change in temperature.

Correspondent Kim Se-ho's report from Tokyo.

Nearly 70 centimeters of snow fell in Aomori Prefecture, where Japan's first heavy snow warning was issued this year.

It is the largest snowfall ever observed in November.

[Tourist] It's my first time. It's like snow, but I can't believe I'm walking on the road so cleanly even though it's such a huge snow. I'm just thinking about going back safely.

The Hokkaido region also recorded up to 27 cm of snow per day.

Major urban areas that used to show early summer temperatures exceeding 20 degrees Celsius have turned into early winter weather.

The center of the Taoism has dropped to a minimum temperature of 7 degrees Celsius with cold winds, which is equivalent to the temperature in early December.

Parts of Gunma Prefecture, the capital area, fell below minus 2 degrees Celsius, the coldest this year.

Some citizens soothe the cold for a moment by dipping their feet in a simple hot spring.

The Japan Meteorological Agency attributes this phenomenon to the influence of cold air flowing from the East Sea of Korea.

The sudden cold that came without feeling autumn properly makes the Japanese archipelago busier to prepare for winter.
