The national baseball team, which failed to advance to the Super Round in the Premier 12, has returned home.

The baseball team, led by head coach Ryu Joong-il, arrived through Incheon International Airport after the Premier 12 tournament in Taiwan.

South Korea failed to advance to the Super Round, where the top two teams compete, staying in third place with 3 wins and 2 losses in the Premier 12 Group B qualifying round.

Coach Ryu met with reporters at the airport and confirmed the improvement of young players' skills, including the bullpen, saying they had a lot to gain and lose in this tournament, and said it was a harvest to find players like Kim Do-young.

However, he added that if he wants to get good results in international competitions, he needs to develop a starting pitcher.

Let's hear from Director Ryu.

[Ryu Joong-il / National baseball team manager: Young players improve their skills, especially pitchers. I also found a player like Kim Do-young. I've always told you that I lost it, but I need to make the starting pitcher stronger, and I need to prepare well for that.]
