The Nasdaq exchange has launched options trading for the Bitcoin spot ETF iShares Bitcoin Trust, which is managed by asset manager BlackRock.
Options refer to derivative financial products that grant the right to buy and sell certain assets, such as goods or securities, within a certain period of time according to the terms of the contract set in advance.
For less than the underlying asset price, you can bet on a rise in the price of Bitcoin or defend against a fall in price, and option sellers can sell the option for the right price on the market.
Experts expected Bitcoin spot exchange-traded fund options trading to help institutional investors avoid risks related to bitcoin investment.
