100 billion won worth of illegal gambling...Operation of 15 Holdham pubs

The Busan Metropolitan Police Agency arrested 125 executives for creating and operating a franchise-type gambling center across the country, arrested seven, and booked 590 people who participated in gambling without detention.

From March to April 2021, the group opened 15 so-called Holdham pubs in Busan, Gyeongnam, and Jeju, and is accused of gambling in the range of KRW 100 billion by exchanging gambling payments with a point gift function.

The police believed that the daily earned 47.9 billion won worth of criminal proceeds by operating a gambling center, and were confiscated and collected for 7.2 billion won.

Police officials said the group was preparing to open an expedition gambling center in Clark, the Philippines, but it came to nothing when the gunman and others were arrested.
