New York prosecutors have submitted their opinion that they agree to suspend the trial and delay the sentence, even though the conviction already handed down should not be quashed.

Trump's side claimed it was a "complete and decisive victory."

Earlier in May, Trump was convicted of 34 criminal charges, including handing over $130,000 to a former adult film actor to prevent sexual exposure.

As the Supreme Court ruled in July that 'public conduct during the presidency is subject to criminal prosecution exemption even after retirement,

Trump asked to dismiss the conviction, and the prosecution's request to postpone the sentence gave him time to strengthen his defense logic.

Trump has also been put on trial for overturning the presidential election results, but as he nominated his confidants to serve as justice minister, there are predictions that it will end up no matter what.

The court is expected to make a decision early next month on whether to dismiss it.
