Seosan-si City and Taean-gun County in South Chungcheong Province announced that they will reduce the water bill for high-level water next month by 30% in connection with the damage caused by the water supply in the Boryeong metropolitan area for four days from the 8th.

This rate reduction is a measure at the local government level, and residents of the city and county will receive about 10 days' worth of fare reduction.

The Korea Water Resources Corporation, which is responsible for managing metropolitan water supply, says it cannot compensate under the provisions of the exemption from unexpected accidents.
