Ulsan City collected 1.641 billion won in local taxes from 118 people and 165 million won in local administrative sanctions and levies from 17 people during the period of clarification.
In addition, the unpaid will seize strong administrative sanctions, hidden assets, such as a ban on departure, registration of bad credit, and restrictions on government-licensed businesses, and work with the Korea Customs Service to seize overseas purchases by delinquents.
An official from Ulsan City said, "We will take the lead in realizing tax justice by strongly responding to high-value and habitual delinquents and tracking assets to create a society where sincere taxpayers are respected."
