A group of college students recently staged a sit-in at Pukyong National University. A group of lawyers for a democratic society has filed a complaint against the head of the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency regarding being arrested by the police.

The Busan branch of Minbyeon held a press conference in front of the Busan District Prosecutors' Office yesterday (20th) and announced that it had filed a complaint with the prosecution against the head of the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency on charges of illegal arrest and imprisonment.

The Busan branch claimed that even though the students lifted the sit-in and expressed their intention to leave, the main gate of the school was blocked and the police suddenly arrested the current criminal.

At the same time, he criticized the police's dispatch to the university as a historical regression that denies democracy, saying that illegal arrests deprived students of not only freedom of expression but also freedom of their bodies.

Yoon Seok-yeol, Retired Busan University Student Action and others continued a protest rally on the 7th when the university's headquarters restrained him while calling for the president's resignation at Pukyong National University, and were arrested by police on the 9th.
