Ioniq 5 electric car burned down by median divider collision and fire

At around 4:30 a.m. today (21st), an Ioniq 5 electric car driving on the road in Daejeo-dong, Gangseo-gu, Busan hit the median strip and caught fire.

As the battery caught fire and spread throughout the vehicle, fire authorities used a mobile flood tank to complete the extinguishing work in about 30 minutes.

The male driver in his 50s evacuated himself.
