The Democratic Party of Korea said it will file a separate complaint against the National Assembly's ethics committee over the so-called "Myeong Tae-kyun's conciliation" allegations, saying that the fact that Yoon Han-hong, a member of the People's Power, contacted Myung's side is inappropriate.

A Democratic Party floor official said, "It is not an exaggeration to say that Yoon contacted the central figure of the serious case, which is not an exaggeration to say that the fate of the government is at stake, in the face of arrest."

He also explained that he had no choice but to judge the cause of the contact as conciliation and destruction of evidence, and that he would soon take legal action.

He then stressed that the ruling and opposition parties should form a special committee as soon as possible to deliberate and decide on the issue, saying that Yoon's disciplinary plan was submitted to the National Assembly yesterday (20th), but the ethics committee was not in operation.
