The railway union will "enter an indefinite general strike" from the 5th of next month.

The National Railroad Workers' Union, which is fighting against compliance with demands for more manpower and higher wages, said it will go on a general strike from the 5th of next month.

The railway union held a press conference today (21st) and announced that it would go on an indefinite general strike unless the government and the railway corporation changed.

The union said in a statement that the rail workers' struggle for the safety of citizens and the safety of trains was justified, arguing that a general strike on Dec. 5 was also an inevitable option.
