Japanese police are investigating a Chinese teenager as a suspect who scribbled on a Tokyo Yasukuni shrine in August.

The Japanese police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a Chinese teenager on charges of vandalism and other charges.

The boy is suspected of writing letters such as "toilet" in Chinese on a stone pillar at the entrance to Yasukuni shrine on the night of August 18.

He also visited Japan a few days before the crime, and left for Hong Kong the morning after the crime.
