The Japanese police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a Chinese teenager on charges of vandalism and other charges.
The boy is suspected of writing letters such as "toilet" in Chinese on a stone pillar at the entrance to Yasukuni shrine on the night of August 18.
He also visited Japan a few days before the crime, and left for Hong Kong the morning after the crime.
