Pocheon City Traces High Defaulters' Cannons to Busan and Disposes of Public Sale

Pocheon City announced that it has traced an unregistered vehicle (a cannon) owned by a high local tax delinquent to Busan and disposed of it at a public sale.

Through a thorough preliminary investigation, Pocheon City's mobile collection team decided that a cannon owned by a large delinquent person was operating in Busan and registered in the occupant's apartment.

The mobile collection team found the vehicle after hiding for a long time in the underground parking lot of the apartment building on the night of the 18th, installed shackles and attached seal tags to prevent it from driving.

The vehicle will be disposed of through an automobile auction agency, and the disposition will be used to cover arrears of local taxes.

Meanwhile, Pocheon City unveiled a list of high delinquents, including 55 individuals and five corporations with more than 10 million won in arrears, on its website (www.pocheon.go.kr ) and its website in Gyeonggi Province (www.gg.go.kr ).
