K Tourism Council announces launch ceremony of advisory group and vision for twotwo (22) campaign

The K Tourism Council (Chairman Lee Sang-man) held a launching ceremony for the K Tourism Council's advisory group and a presentation event for the vision of the Twotwo (22) campaign at Maehwa Hall at the Korea Press Center on the 20th.

This event introduces major projects to be promoted by the K Tourism Council, which aims to inherit the UN war culture and promote international friendship, and strengthens cooperation with major domestic and foreign figures. The U.N. war culture means preserving and honoring the culture and memories related to the U.N. troops' participation in the Korean War.

Jang Tae-pyeong (former Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries), former Marine Corps Commander Kim Myung-hwan, former CEO of Lotte Cinema Son Kwang-ik, Chairman of the Seoul Merchants Association Chu Gwi-seong, and Chairman of the Korea CIO Summit (KCS) were appointed to the advisory group of the K-Tourism Council.

In addition, Kim Dan-ah, a former Miss Korea, was appointed as an ambassador for the K Tourism Council to promote the association's campaigns and major activities, and communicate the value and importance of the UN war culture through various channels to attract participation and empathy from the younger generation.

And officials from government agencies, local governments and cooperative organizations attended the event and promised cooperation and support for the Twotwo (22) campaign. With this inauguration ceremony, the K Tourism Council plans to take the lead in spreading the culture of UN war and strengthening international friendship.

The Twotwo (22) campaign vision presented at this event provides a variety of programs to promote the culture of the UN war through continuous strengthening of cooperation with the 22 UN warring countries and to empathize with the younger generation who want to inherit it. Representative programs include the 'Thank You, Heroes' challenge, the National Tour Street Campaign, the UN Memorial Culture Festival, the 22 Hero Sports Festival, and the Global Peaks Challenge.
