Lee Ki-heung, chairman of the Korea Sports Council, who is facing investigation on various allegations of misconduct, broke through the "opposition protest" and went to work in the office.

The announcement of his candidacy for the third consecutive term has also begun counting down.

This is reporter Cho Eun-ji.

Lee Ki-heung, chairman of the Korea Sports Council, who was suspended by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, has "suddenly gone to work" at the Olympic Hall.

About 30 members of the sports association's labor union gathered in a hurry to protest in the lobby,

"Guardian! You can't press the elevator. You have to go up!"

Chairman Lee reportedly worked for about an hour on the 13th floor of the building and at the IOC Support Department.

In the afternoon, I visited Jincheon Training Center in Chungbuk and met with Jang Jae-geun, the chief of the village.

Chairman Lee Ki-heung said in a YTN call that he had the task of contacting the current International Olympic Committee and IOC members, and explained that he could go to work if he had any issues to deal with in the future.

If you look at the work of the chairman of the sports association, he clearly emphasized that he handled international sports work as it was a 'violation of regulations'.

Chairman Lee Ki-heung's announcement to run for a third consecutive term is also imminent.

I'm reticent that I haven't made up my mind yet, but

[Lee Ki-heung / President of the Korea Sports Council (suspension of duty), IOC member] (last 13th): I will decide on my future course of action soon and I will officially make my seat comfortable and talk to you.]

Chairman Lee is said to be looking for a location on the 27th as a press conference D-Day.

90 days before the election of the 42nd chairman of the sports association, that is, as we have to submit an "expression of registration of candidates" by the 29th, we have to organize our plans next week at the latest.

Chairman Lee was found to be in the midst of three-term behind-the-scenes work, including meeting with the "Wonroohoe," which consists of previous sports association presidents, and contacting various sports stars.

Amid the observation that the current delegate election method is likely to lead to the third consecutive term of incumbent Chairman Lee Ki-heung, some predict that the speed of the prosecution and police investigation, or the timing and level of the forced investigation, are the biggest variables.
