On the way to work today (22nd), there will be places where ultrafine dust is slightly higher in some western areas.

From the afternoon, the cold wind will clear the fine dust, but it will become somewhat chilly, and the clear sky is expected to remain until the weekend.

Reporter Jung Hye-yoon's report.

The city center was covered with gray dust.

The view is blurred as if it were a grayish-blue curtain, and the building across the river is not well outlined.

This is because the cold is relieved, the atmosphere is stagnant, morning fog and domestic pollutants are intertwined, and smog from China is mixed.

The concentration of ultra-fine dust was "bad" in Seoul, Incheon, and most of Gyeonggi Province, but it was twice as high as 40 micrograms per cubic meter at one point.

Although it is not enough to be issued a special notice, ultra-fine dust is not filtered out of the respiratory system such as the nose and mucous membranes, so the elderly and children should refrain from outdoor activities as much as possible.

Citizens prepared with masks, but it is regrettable that the stuffy sky is.

[Kang Tae-gu / Samsan-dong, Bupyeong-gu: The visibility was so bad that I thought the fine dust was bad, so I came out with a mask on. Looking at the clear weather and the cloudy weather, it's a little disappointing because it doesn't seem to be very clean visually or mentally.]

Cloudy skies caused by ultra-fine dust are likely to expand into the southern interior overnight and affect parts of the western interior until this morning's commute.

Therefore, if your respiratory system is sensitive even on your way to work today, it is better to prepare yourself by wearing a mask.

However, this afternoon, relatively clean air is expected to move south from the north, so fine dust will be resolved quickly.

After that, relatively clear and clear skies are expected to be maintained on weekends.
