The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's Jeonse Fraud Damage Support Committee has held three general meetings since the 6th and passed 938 out of 1,823 applications for victim decisions.
Under the special law, 520 cases that failed to meet the victim's requirements were rejected, and 221 cases that signed up for a lease deposit return guarantee or were eligible for a full refund of the deposit by receiving the highest payment were excluded from the damage recognition.
63 of those who filed objections because they were not recognized as victims in the previous deliberation were confirmed to meet the victim requirements, and were recognized as victims of charter fraud.
As a result, the number of victims recognized by the committee has increased to 24,668 since the enforcement of the special law on June 1 last year.
In addition, 74% of applications for recognition of damage from lease fraud have been approved and 13.4% have been rejected so far.
