Ahead of the start of winter in December, the cold air is going south again, and the freezing cold is coming.

With a stronger chill going south than last time, morning temperatures are expected to drop significantly below zero towards the end of the week.

The Seoul morning temperature will remain in the video zone until Wednesday before dropping to -1C on Thursday and Friday, and to -3C on Saturday.

The sub-zero cold is predicted until next Monday, so colder weather than usual is expected to continue until early December when winter begins.

In particular, this time, the possibility of first snow is also predicted in the middle of next week in central Seoul and inland areas of North Jeolla Province and North Gyeongsang Province, along with the cold, so the season is expected to gradually move to winter.

Yes, the Korea Meteorological Administration released its forecast for winter weather for the next three months this morning.

This winter is generally mild, but it is expected to be a winter with a large fluctuation in temperature.

First of all, the Korea Meteorological Administration expected temperatures to be similar to or higher than normal from December to February this winter due to high sea level temperatures and low snow cover in Tibetan high temperatures.

However, La Niña, which brings the early cold, and the small sea ice area of the Arctic, which brings the northern cold, are expected to be variables.

In December, there is a possibility that another cold spell in the north will fall south around the third week, following the cold that runs from next week to early, and the temperature may be periodically high in January.

Following the fall, the Korea Meteorological Administration warned that mild and cold weather will repeat this winter, and that weather changes could be a big season.

In addition, the amount of precipitation in winter is expected to be less than in previous years due to the effect of La Niña, signaling dry weather in winter.

Therefore, the west coast and Yeongdong areas, where snow falls heavily due to the topographical influence of winter, are expected to experience relatively small amounts of snow every time the cold comes rather than heavy snow.
