Singer Jung Il-hoon, who was caught on habitual drug charges in 2020, has returned to the music industry.

Jeong Il-hoon released his new song "Lullaby" on the 21st.

This is his new song that came out five years after the album Spoiler, released in 2019, before the drug controversy.

He said through a music site, "About two years ago, a song made like fate before going on a trip. Looking back on life, the door of a tightly closed heart, the sound made in it. I myself approached the music more honestly, and as a result, my pure voice was prominently expressed," he introduced the new song.

In addition, he said on his SNS, "I am truly grateful to the fans who have been supporting me for a long time," adding, "It's a particularly touching day because I think it's a moment I've dreamed of."

Earlier in 2020, Jeong Il-hoon was caught by the police on habitual drug charges. At that time, it was revealed that he had purchased and inhaled cannabis for about five years, and he was also expelled from the group BTOB.

Jeong Il-hoon, who was serving as a substitute for the military as a social service worker, was sentenced to two years in prison in the first trial and arrested in court. However, he was released after being sentenced to two years in prison and three years of probation in the second trial.
