As the Japanese government has decided to send a far-right figure to the Sado mine memorial service as a representative, our government is embarrassed.

Civic groups, including the Citizens' Association for Japan's Forced Mobilization, criticized the Japanese government's sending of Akiko Ikuina, a foreign ministry official who has a history of paying tribute to Yasukuni, to the memorial service, as killing the victims' honor twice.

At the same time, he pointed out that the incompetent diplomatic capabilities of the Korean government, which has continued to consult with the Japanese side over the memorial ceremony schedule and attendees, have been revealed.

The Korean government is embarrassed by canceling the briefing scheduled in this regard.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has scheduled a press briefing on the Sado mine memorial ceremony, but has suddenly canceled the briefing after the Japanese government decided to send Ikuina as a representative and is discussing countermeasures.
