The university launched a fact-finding investigation after a university professor in Incheon protested collectively, saying that he demanded students comply with excessive clothes during presentation classes.

online community, Professor A announced ahead of the presentation time that it is mandatory to wear neat hair, makeup, and shoes, and bans glasses, partial dyeing, and loose clothing. Students also claimed that they cautioned about appearance management, saying, "If you don't wear makeup or wear glasses and present, you will get '0 points'."

Considering the characteristics of the major related to the subject, students are protesting that Professor A's dress code is an excessive regulation, as many workplaces often wear work clothes after graduation.

Professor A also pointed out that it was an inappropriate act, saying that he followed 20 accounts related to female body exposure on social networking services (SNS).

The student council said on the 19th that 2,257 (98.5%) out of 2,292 students approved of the formal investigation by voting on whether to investigate this content. Accordingly, the university decided to conduct an internal investigation and take follow-up measures if the illegality against Professor A is confirmed.

In this regard, Professor A explained, "The dress code only applies to the biennial graduation presentation evaluation," adding, "I have never taught students about their appearance." "We set the dress code for the purpose of helping with employment or interviews as much as possible," he said, adding, "In fact, there was no situation where 0 points were processed for violation of the dress code."

Regarding the SNS account, he also said, "We recklessly increased the number of followers for department promotion, but it includes inappropriate accounts, which is separate from the dress code."

A university official said, "We have launched an immediate investigation based on the results of the representative student counseling and the vote of the student council," adding, "We will confirm specific facts."
