Yoon ordered the National Integration Committee to diagnose exactly what the basic and structural causes of polarization are, saying that national integration can only be achieved when the polarization is broken, former spokesman Jeong Hye-jeon said in a briefing.

In the second half of his administration, he stressed that the government should work hard to overcome polarization so that the entire people can operate as a growth engine, and that this will provide a next-generation growth engine.
