The prosecution objected to the first trial's ruling on the 15th, which sentenced Lee Jae-myung to a suspended prison term on charges of publicizing false information under the election law.

In fact, I heard all the reasons for appeal that could raise misunderstanding, misunderstanding of the law, and unfair sentencing.

The prosecution said it will prove at the appeal trial that CEO Lee's remarks that he did not know the late Kim Moon-ki denied his communication, including his business relationship with Kim.

In addition, the lower court's sentencing will be considered once again, as it demanded a two-year prison sentence for CEO Lee in the previous final trial.

Representative Lee, who had expressed his objection to the ruling immediately after the sentence, also submitted an appeal to the court a day before the deadline for appeal expired.

As the prosecution and representative Lee's side disobey the ruling one after another, the Seoul High Court, which will be in charge of the appeal hearing, is expected to have a fierce legal battle once again.

Under the election law, the first trial must be completed within six months, and the second and third trials must be completed within three months, respectively, dividends and hearings are likely to take place faster in the appeal trial.

Attention is focusing on whether CEO Lee will accept a ruling that adds to judicial risks in the second trial, which is the last of the facts, or whether he will be able to revive it.
