In addition, the Democratic Party of Korea released the related recordings, raising suspicions that Myung Tae-kyun exerted influence on investigative agencies such as the Changwon District Prosecutors' Office.

According to the voice recording released by the Democratic Party of Korea, Myung asks his acquaintance on December 9, 2023, "Do you know that the police chief, the prosecution, and all of them have pledged allegiance?"

He then said that he brought them in and that they shouted three times that they would be loyal to former lawmaker Kim Young-sun, and that "no matter how much the committee crosses, it will be removed from the police."

Another recording released by the Democratic Party of Korea also included former lawmaker Kim telling Kang Hye-kyung, "Everything was said to Gyeongsangnam-do National Election Commission Chairman through someone else."

Former lawmaker Kim asked to answer questions about money, saying, "I have nothing to do with the denial," but the Democratic Party claimed that it had confided in the fact that former lawmaker Kim had influenced the NEC by ordering false statements in the early days of the NEC's investigation.
