Following last year, this year is expected to be the hottest year in history, and the United Nations Climate Agreement's top voting body, the Conference of the Parties, is proceeding beyond its official schedule.
This is because there is no narrowing of differences between developed and developing countries over climate resources, which is a key agenda.

the official closing day of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change,
The draft agreement on the 'New Climate Funding Goals', a key agenda item for
, has been unveiled.
The main goal is to raise $1.3 trillion in climate resources every year and 1,826 trillion won in our money by 2035.
Among them, the target for the amount of money that developed countries directly raise and donate to developing countries was set at $250 billion and 351 trillion won.
[Yelchin Rafiev / Azerbaijan (COP29 Presidency) Foreign Minister: Negotiations will continue. The general meeting is still in progress. The draft reflected the proposals made by some parties.
However, developing countries are protesting, saying that it is far from enough.
[Mohamed Addo / 'Power Shift Africa' Representative: No developing country is going to fall here. What we need is an ambitious climate funding target. But what they have offered is only one-fifth of what developing countries have asked for.
Developed countries are also in an atmosphere where they do not like to talk, even if they do not like it.
[Yennifer Morgan / German climate envoy: Discussing with allies and vulnerable countries, others and the EU what is problematic and concerning]
As the differences between the two sides did not narrow, the General Assembly eventually moved beyond its official schedule.
The future is more of a problem.
Right now, U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has declared his withdrawal from the Paris Climate Change Agreement, a promise to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Concerns are growing that the international community's solidarity to respond to climate change will also become that difficult.
