Gyeonggi Southern Police crack down on drunk and drug driving...26 people caught.

The Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency yesterday (22nd) cracked down on drunk and drug driving and detected a total of 26 cases.

Police deployed more than 200 police officers from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. last night (22nd) around the entertainment district and at Tolgate in Dongsuwon.

All of the drivers caught were confirmed to be drunk driving, with 10 cancellations and 16 suspensions.

The police stressed that they will continue to crack down on drunk driving during the year-end and New Year holidays and special crackdowns on drug driving, which has recently emerged as a social problem, until the end of January next year.
