On the weekend ahead of the first trial of the perjury teacher case of Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, the Democratic Party held its fourth outdoor rally condemning the government as scheduled.
The ruling party did not slow down the offensive, calling it a "false production," although it emphasized civic participation and reducing political color as much as possible, including a ban on blue clothes symbolizing the party.

On Saturday, just before the first sentence of Lee Jae-myung's perjury teacher, the blue symbolizing the Democratic Party of Korea disappeared at a large-scale rally, the fourth this month alone.
The organizing time of the rally was also greatly reduced to about 15 minutes, and there was no public statement from Lee Jae-myung, who attended the event late.
It was interpreted that he lowered his posture as much as possible as criticism was raised that the outdoor military demonstration ahead of his trial was "Lee Jae-myung's bulletproof use and intimidation of the court."
Floor leader Park Chan-dae, the only member of the leadership to take the floor, cited suspicions related to the president and his wife and raised his voice that the people should correct them.
[Park Chan-dae / Minjoo Party floor leader: Stock price manipulation, public opinion manipulation, nomination intervention, and manipulation of state affairs] Isn't this a crime that can't be overlooked? The real owner of the Republic of Korea is not Kim Gun-hee and Yoon Suk Yeol, but our people. You have to get it right.]
The People's Power responded that the Democratic Party, which was in a hurry, tried to "falsely direct" as if ordinary citizens gathered at the rally, and said not to deceive the people.
Over the past three weeks, the Democratic Party of Korea's outdoor rallies have been filled with party members and party officials, with little participation from ordinary citizens, and the "blue clothing ban" is just a poor measure.
[Song Young-hoon / Spokesperson for People's Power: This is because the wise Korean people have seen early on that the essence of the rally is to seek representative Lee Jae-myung.]
Representative Lee was convicted of lying and now faces sentencing on charges of making him lie, pointing out that he should break the "chain of lies" and return to the path of people's livelihood.
Representative Lee has been sitting on the sidelines of the Democratic Party's attempt to neutralize the judicial system, and Lee's recent remarks that he believes in the judiciary also raised the level of the offensive, calling it a "bullet-proof camouflage."
As the political situation is bound to fluctuate greatly depending on the results of Lee Jae-myung's second first trial, the ruling and opposition parties' "public opinion battle" ahead of the ruling is also at its peak.
