Hamas "An additional Israeli female hostage is killed"

An additional Israeli female hostage has been killed in an Israeli attack on northern Gaza, Hamas says.

According to the BBC, Hamas belatedly confirmed the death by reaching people holding the female hostage late, explaining that other female hostages held together are also in danger of their lives.

The Israeli military said it was checking information on Hamas' claims, explaining that it did not know the truth of the claims.

Israeli authorities believe that about 60 of the 231 hostages kidnapped in the surprise attack carried out by Hamas on October 7 last year are alive and detained in Gaza.
