We are more urgent than Japan after the World Heritage List.
Most of our requests, including work, attendees and eulogists, are rejected.
Critics point out that there is a lack of diplomatic strategy over the fact that the Korean government canceled the attendance a day before the Sado Mine memorial ceremony.
In 2015, Japan did not keep its promise when it registered warship islands as a World Heritage site, but this time, the diplomatic authorities who agreed to register Sado Mine as a World Heritage site seem to be increasingly responsible.

Back in 2015, Japan made a promise to cover up the opposition of Korea while listing the warship island as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
However, the information center honoring the victims was established in Tokyo, not on a warship map, and data denying coercion were displayed.
Criticism arose over Japan's agreement to register the Sado mine as a World Heritage Site at a time when it still does not keep its promise, but the government insisted it was different this time.
[Hong Ki-won/Democratic Party member (August): We agreed to register the Sado mine of the same nature even though the Japanese government is not implementing what was agreed upon during the warship island, right?]
[Minister of Foreign Affairs Cho Tae-yeol (last August): Didn't you agree to register because you secured implementation measures?]
However, this time again, Japan seemed to change its attitude after being listed as a World Heritage Site, and our government became urgent.
[Han Deok-soo/Prime Minister (September): The UNESCO Secretariat and the World Heritage Committee are explaining the position of our government and asking for cooperation, and we continue to urge one side to faithfully fulfill the promises we made. I will continue to urge you again.]
The date of the memorial service was barely set as it was pointed out that the warship was also stabbed in the back by Japan following the incident, but concerns did not subside.
In the end, the Japanese government announced a person with a history of visiting Yasukuni on behalf of the Japanese government and rejected our request to put a sincere apology in the eulogy.
This is why there is no choice but to criticize our Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which agreed on the date without the most important attendees and eulogy agreement.
[Kang Yoo-jung / Minjoo Party floor spokesman: The incompetence of diplomacy and lack of information have confused our personnel and bereaved families and failed to respond properly to Japan.]
Despite the format of 'invitation', the Korean government announced the cancellation of attending the event while already leaving for Japan with the bereaved family with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' budget without receiving any cost support.
The government said it would hold a separate event with the bereaved families there, but it seems difficult to avoid responsibility, pointing out that it is a diplomatic failure due to lack of strategy.
