Family killed in Israeli airstrikes...Lebanese soldiers die too.

Israel airstrikes on a three-story building in eastern Lebanon's Baalbek have killed 17 people, including four children and their mother, the country's health ministry said.

The airstrikes took place late on Sunday local time, and local officials said the building remained economically unaffordable households to flee.

On the 24th local time, a Lebanese military base was also attacked, killing one Lebanese soldier and injuring 18 others.

The Lebanese army is a separate organization from Hezbollah and is not a party to Israel.

Lebanon's caretaker prime minister, Najib Mikati, accused Israel of betraying all efforts to end the war.

The Israeli military stressed that its enemy was Hezbollah, not Lebanese, and expressed regret that it was investigating the incident.
