An avian influenza antigen has been confirmed at a poultry farm in Jeollanam-do, and government authorities have begun a thorough examination.

The Central Disaster Management Headquarters for Avian Influenza said yesterday (24th) that an H5 type AI antigen was confirmed at a farm in Yeongam-gun, Jeollanam-do, and it was being tested for high pathogenicity.

The farm has raised more than 10 poultry, including native chickens, but it is known that it is not a commercial farm.
