Regarding the allegation that political broker Myung Tae-kyun conducted a non-public opinion poll on Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon, Oh refuted the allegation that he had never requested or received a poll.

Kim Byung-min, Seoul's deputy mayor for political affairs, appeared on YTN radio today and said he had never received any information about 13 unofficial polls conducted by Myung during the 2021 Seoul mayoral by-election.

"At the time, Mayor Oh's camp had no idea whether there was a money transaction between Mayor Oh's sponsor Kim and Myung," he said. "It is necessary to check whether the poll was delivered to Kim Jong-in, chairman of the People's Power Emergency Committee or the party."

In addition, Mayor Oh's sponsor, Kim, said, "We were one of the acquaintances we met during the free school meal scandal in 2011, but the relationship was still not good at the time of the by-election," adding, "It is up to the prosecution to find out the relationship between Myung and Kim and what kind of price came and went."
