The Air Force announced that it will conduct Soaring Eagle training in the second half of 2024 at Cheongju Base in Chungcheongbuk-do from today to the 29th.
The Air Force said more than 60 aviation forces, including F-35A stealth fighters, KF-16, FA-50 fighter jets, and KC-330 multi-purpose aerial refueling transporters, will participate in the exercise.
The Soring Eagle training is a large-scale comprehensive aerial training conducted by the Korean Air Force alone, and has been conducted twice a year since 2008 to develop tactical capabilities between various types.
Based on the local provocation and all-out war situation of the enemy, the Korean Air Force will be divided into allies and enemies to provide defense and conduct air-blocking drills day and night.
