45 unfair terms and conditions of credit-specialized financial companies, such as credit card companies and lease and installment financial companies, have been caught.

The Fair Trade Commission reviewed 1,215 terms and conditions used by credit-specialized financial companies, and found that 45 provisions of seven types were problematic and demanded correction from the Financial Services Commission.

Representative unfair terms and conditions are terms and conditions with phrases such as "according to the card company's circumstances," which allow business operators to arbitrarily change or suspend the contents of the service.

Additional services provided when using credit cards can only be changed after three years under the Financial Consumer Protection Act, but in some cases, the old terms and conditions were left intact that they could be changed when provided for more than a year.

The FTC said it will work closely with financial authorities to ensure unfair terms and conditions are corrected in the financial investment sector, following the banking sector and the credit-specialized finance sector.
