More than 50 Democratic Party members, including Jeon Hyun-hee and Han Jun-ho, gather in court
Lee Jae-myung, 2 p.m. will enter...Smile and talk to the lawyer.
The first trial of Democratic Party Chairman Lee Jae-myung's perjury teacher charge has been underway since 2 p.m. today.
Representative Lee, who arrived at the court about 10 minutes before the sentence, entered the court without answering reporters' questions.
I'm connecting the reporters who are out of the field. Reporter Kim Dahyun!
CEO Lee's first trial sentence is going on right now, right?
[Reporter]
Yes, the Seoul Central District Court is conducting a trial on CEO Lee Jae-myung's perjury teacher charges from 2 p.m. today.
Representative Lee appeared at the court at around 1:48 p.m.
Representative Lee entered the courtroom laughing without answering reporters asking about his position and how he expects to judge whether he is guilty or not ahead of his second sentence.
About 50 incumbent lawmakers, including supreme council members Jeon Hyun-hee and Han Joon-ho, and Democratic Party personnel, first guarded the court before Lee's arrival.
More and more Democrats are showing up in court.
Representative Lee completed his registration at around 2 p.m. in the sentencing court.
While Representative Lee was moving to the court, supporters shouted several times, saying, "Cheer up, you're not guilty."
He was talking to a lawyer with a smile around his mouth or staring straight ahead with an expressionless expression.
The court first makes a judgment on the detailed charges and proceeds with a reading of the order to sentence them.
It is difficult to estimate how long it will take before ordering,
Some predict that
will be over in about 30 minutes because the representative charge itself is simple.

You also said in the previous broadcast that there are strong rallies for and against, so how is the atmosphere around the court now?
[Reporter]
Today, about 2,000 representative support groups reported a rally near Seocho-dong and 1,500 conservative groups.
Supporters' groups are also holding a signature campaign to shout slogans such as "Lee Jae-myung is not guilty" and denounce the judiciary, and urge Kim Gun-hee to independent counsel.
On the other hand, conservative groups chanted slogans such as Lee Jae-myung's legal arrest and sang the national anthem.
The police separated the two sides and deployed task forces near Seocho and Kyunghwa stations to maintain order.

Not only the police but also the courts have increased security, right?
[Reporter]
Overall, security management has been strengthened compared to the sentencing on the 15th.
The court has decided to deploy additional security management personnel and strengthen searches.
The court gates are partially closed and ordinary vehicles except essential business vehicles are not allowed to enter the building, forcing the trial parties to move faster than usual.
The road connecting the prosecution and the court can also be passed after checking the ID,
The first sentence of perjury teacher will be held in a 100-seat heavy court as in the election law.
This is because it is more convenient to manage the flow of movement than the existing small court in which the trial was conducted, and in the case of Lee's representative trial, only those with the right to attend the court are allowed to enter the court.
I will keep you posted on the news of Representative Lee's trial as soon as it comes in.
So far, I'm Kim Da-hyun of YTN at the Seoul Central District Court.
