Overseas Korean Office to Start Operation of Overseas Korean Civil Service Office Incheon Branch from Dec. 2

The Overseas Korean Office opens the Incheon branch of the civil service office at Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 for the convenience of overseas Koreans.

The Overseas Koreans' Office announced today (25th) that the Incheon branch of the overseas Koreans' civil service office will be officially operated from 9 a.m. on December 2.

The Overseas Koreans' Office said it initially set up a branch at Songdo Overseas Koreans' Office in Incheon following the Gwanghwamun Integrated Civil Service Office in Seoul, but decided to move the branch to Incheon International Airport to make it easier for overseas Koreans to access civil service.

An official from the Overseas Korean Office explained that the Incheon branch of the civil service office can receive civil service counseling services at the level of Gwanghwamun Integrated Civil Service Office, such as nationality, immigration, military service, and tax.

In addition, the Overseas Koreans' Office added that it will provide some overseas migration complaints services, such as issuing a copy of the overseas national register, reissuing the confirmation of overseas migration report, and reporting the return of overseas Koreans.

Lee Sang-deok, head of the Overseas Koreans Agency, said he will continue to improve the operation method of the Overseas Koreans Agency so that overseas Koreans can feel the policy.
