Prosecutors have demanded a heavy sentence for the head of an entertainment establishment who was accused of threatening the late actor Lee Sun-kyun and ripping off 300 million won.

At the final hearing held by Judge Hong Eun-sook of the Incheon District Court on the 25th, the prosecution demanded a seven-year prison term for A (30, female), the head of an entertainment establishment, who was indicted on charges of blackmail and other charges.

The prosecution said, "The defendant deliberately committed the crime by abusing the fact that the victim was a celebrity and purchasing a fake phone," adding, "The case is serious and the crime is poor."

In September last year, A called Lee and was arrested and charged with ripping off 300 million won, saying, "My phone is hacked and threatened, but I need money to cover my mouth."

At that time, the hacker who threatened A was found to be B (29, female), a former movie star who lived in the same apartment and was close to her.

A, a six-time criminal, including drug, was arrested and charged with taking or smoking methamphetamine or cannabis three times from March to August last year and sentenced to one year in prison last month.
