[Daegu] Daegu City, 42 billion won worth of investment agreement with IT security companies

Daegu City signed an investment agreement with SGA, an information and communication security company based in the metropolitan area, to build an integrated research institute in Daegu.

Under the agreement, SGA Group plans to invest 42 billion won to build a 2,000-square-meter research institute in Suseong Alpha City, Daegu, and hire 90 R&D talents.

The Daegu Metropolitan Government explained that the investment made for the first time since Suseong Alpha City was designated as an "opportunity development special zone" in June will revitalize the attraction of so-called ABB companies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and blockchain in the future.
